My World of Ecstasy
Just wanted to share some pictures of a spectacular trip to Hanthana. The journey in the train to Kandy was a new experience for all of us....
From the railway station, it was a short but stiff road trip of 11kms accross the well carpeted tea plantation to get to the hotel. Mr Navaratna, the care taker welcome us at the door step with a fascinating smile.....
it was Nilanga's job to take care of our lunch with the help of Navaratna and his wife, while others got busy carrying the heavy luggage to the hotel by climbing few steps... Mahesh, Kamanthi and Ruvi was busy with grabbing the best room for them when i went in... Me and Amil had no choice than owning the one an only room which was left at the roof top. But it had the best view of all of the wonderful surrounded mountains.

We guys did not forget to get our self warmed with ______:D before the "Peella" bath which i cannot forget of. Wish i could have one beside of my place to have my morning bath everyday !! Nilanga had a great time out there having his weekly bath ;)
after a short nap was the chattering evening followed by a BBQ dinner. In the mean time Danushka "Robin in the hood of our era" showing his commitment towards our friendship got into a bus from colombo in the night to join us in Kandy. I had a hard time directing him into the hotel along the dark scary roads....
Amil brought in some exciting topics into the forum which kept all of us on our toes... Then it was danushka sharing his exciting but scary three-wheeler trip in the dark. Nilanga, Mahesh, Kamanthi, Nelu and Ruvi kept us awake through out the night with their wonderful voices along with the side support from all of us...
Next day morning was the walk in the wonderful village which made all of us pooped but fun !! Small hindu temples we saw was a symbol of faith they had towrads their beliefs. I actually didnt feel like leaving one of them for some reason which i could not figure out....I was sitting on the rock and thinking how luckier the villagers would be to live in a carm and cool environment like that....
